Cancellation policy

  1. BUYER: Cancelling more than 24 hours before booking start time.
    Customer with BUYER role may cancel without penalty by cancelling a booking at least 24 hours before their scheduled booking time. To cancel, please click three dots at the top of your Booking screen. PROVIDER will be notified through Kompany notification system right away.

  2. BUYER: Late Cancellation.
    Cancellations are considered “late” when a customer with BUYER role does not cancel at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled booking time. Late cancellations will result in the BUYER being charged a fee of 50% of the whole amount. PROVIDER will be notified through Kompany notification system right away and receive 50% of initial amount minus Trust and Support fee. For example, if PROVIDER's Hourly fee was set to $100 / hour and booking was scheduled for 3 hours, BUYER will be charged for $100 * 3 / 2 = $150 for late Cancellation and PROVIDER will receive $150 - $4.65 - $45 = $100.35.

  3. Provider Cancellation.
    If, for any reason, a PROVIDER wants to cancel BUYER'S scheduled booking, BUYER should receive a 100% refund within several business days. BUYER will be notified through Kompany notification system right away. Meanwhile, after cancelling a booking, PROVIDER will be charged for Cancellation fee that is equal to net hourly fee of one hour (Hourly fee minus trust and support fee). For example, PROVIDER's Hourly fee is $100, a booking was scheduled for 3 hours and for any reason, PROVIDER decided to cancel a booking with BUYER, PROVIDER will be charged for $100 - $3.20 - $15 = $81.8

  4. Missed Appointments.
    If either BUYER or PROVIDER miss their scheduled booking without cancelling by not starting or ending their meeting through scanning a QR code, a booking will be considered as either "Completed automatically" or "Cancelled automatically" and the whole amount will be held by Kompany until a dispute is resolved after Support team discussing reasons for not scanning a QR code. In case of BUYER not showing up, PROVIDER receives an amount according to "Late Cancellation" item of this policy. In case of PROVIDER not showing up, BUYER receives a full refund and PROVIDER is being charged for a Cancellation fee according to "PROVIDER Cancellation" item of this policy.

  5. Trust and Support Fee:
    Kompany service has a fee of 15% + 2.9% + $0.3 per transaction for ensuring ongoing reliability, security, and access to dedicated customer assistance.

  6. Refunds.
    Any refunds will be processed in the same method as the original payment.

  7. Dispute resolving.
